AAA Lower Mainland Week 1 Preview

Lower Mainland

Rankings

1. Kitsilano
2. St. Georges
3. Killarney
4. Magee
5. Churchill
6. Richmond
7. Palmer
8. Hugh Boyd
9. Burnaby Central
10. Lord Byng

HM: Burnett, Burnaby South, New West

Almost all teams above are in the HSBC, will see what the result of the games are. Magee is playing really well right now as is Churchill. Richmond teams are OK but a little inconsistent early. Burnaby Central is a team that should go higher with better competition coming up.

I believe the finals in the PG Tournament was between Magee and South, don't know who won though.

Palmer's getting too much love, they're an average team.

I heard Richmond High beat Magee in a scrimmage game before the season started.

But the rankings seem about right, but RHS should be placed higher if they are to beat CHurchill today at the HSBC

Like I said earlier... Van > than Richmond this year (not next)

Killarney, SWC,Magee and Byng > RHS,Boyd, Burnett, Palmer

Excluding Kits and Saints to be fair.

No Richmond teams will make prov. this year...they are way over hyped. Churchill could easily place 5th in Vancouver this year and clobbered RHS in front of a home crowd. Could have been more in a neutral setting

Finals in the Greyhound Classic was indeed between Magee and B South. I heard South took it after OT.

In all fairness most of the Richmond teams are young with the exception of Boyd. I do expect the Colts to be strong in March but the rest of the teams will be average.

Who does South have?

I thought Richmond High would be strong this year? I don't know how they're doing, but I heard they have some new players, most notablely: David Whitney.
