Final Game: Brookswood vs Kitsilano
Consolation: St. George's vs Handsworth
I really like Brookswood as the winner of this tournament. By all reports they have looked good through the summer. I don't think anyone can stop Malish this year, he ripped it up last year and I expect he will have a monster year this year, could be all-around MVP. The Bobcats have a tough draw having to face possibly Burnett, a top 10 Centennial team and top ranked St. George's. Still their frontcourt is the best in the Province and should dominate the field.
Kitsilano has an easy route all the way to the Semis. This is where things get really interesting as they will most likely face Handsworth in the Semis. We all remember what happened in the Provincial Tournament a mere 8 months ago. I'm sure Coach Coutts would like nothing better than redemption here. I like Niko and Nurse ahead of Leigh and Keast in the big semifinal match.
Big question mark for St. George's will be whether Bol Kong has completely healed from his knee injury that sidelined him for the latter half of the summer. Without him, they won't have a chance vs Brookswood and could be in trouble vs a new and much improved Richmond team.
Notable absentees include Terry Fox, Pitt Meadows, West Van, Hugh Boyd, MEI and North Delta. And what of Carson Graham and their 7 footer.

I like your site, and the interest that it generates for high school sports in bc. Are you going to do anything for Junior Boys Basketball??
Will try to...

DO DOUBLE AA!!!!!! PLZ!!!!!!! ???
where's the double AA.....
Where's WRCA?
is it jus me or do you delete the comments you dont like?
I've very open with the comments and read every one. Just like the Football blog, I delete the ones that have:
- sexual innuendo (ie. rape, sodomy, etc..)
- threats of violence against a player or team
- racial stereotyping
Everything else stays. I'm a big proponent of FREEDOM OF SPEECH but sometimes people take it too far...
Are you gonna do a preview for the Saint Georges Dominos Tournament?
ya, the St. George's tourney is Dec 14/15 so I'll preview next weekend.
We(McMath)lost to Tamanawis by 30 and I wanted to tell everyone, they are a very good team..they are all about running and there guards are very strong...but Handsworth looks very sharp also...Tomm. should be good to see how that game goes!!
brookswood will not beat saints
they're overrated
they were only up by 5 at halftime i heard against pow

central lost to pm in a heartbreaker ...they were missing there startin pg and sf
Centennial Beat Palmer by 55 .. not much of a dog fight eh ?
Looks like Kits might have a tough time cuz Killarney got killed by Pinetree.
