Did Westsyde win the torney up in Sahali. ?????? how did there games go up there how were the results of that tornoment?

Yeah, Westsyde won the tournament, Sa-hali came 2nd. Westsyde murdered DP Todd in the semi-finals, they got 3rd and Summerland got 4th.

w/e these rankings are just stupid now

the more we win games, the further down in the rankings we get.

i think Pacific Academy is too high, hope should be ranked 10th and southridge should be hm also

hahaha omfg, what the F is wrong with basketball BC. seriously they are just stupid how do you put P.A. ranked at 10th.

Who have they beaten, somebody tell me who the F P.A. has beaten to make them worthy of top 10

At 11:43 PM, January 30, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

man these rankings are bad. PA is not that strong. Don't get me wrong they're a solid team but both Hope and Southridge have beat them this year handily and I don't know who the hell they beat to move up to 10 from NR. That's just stupid.

At 12:34 AM, January 31, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

how is hope behind PA, hope beat PA in a tourny final with a short bench, and southridge has beat PA also, PA has been in way too many close games in their own division to be even considered for a HM. If anybody knows if PA has pulled some upsets please post them i would like to hear about them. Thanx

At 12:13 PM, January 31, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

southridge beat PA by 25 last week after losing to them by 9 in the first game of the season...

At 12:31 PM, January 31, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Not too sure why Sahali isn't at least an honorable mention. Beat both DP Todd, and Summerland. Sounds a little off to me. Westsyde also smacked DP Todd. Sahali's only losses this year are to Ladysmith, Duchess, Fulton, Cedar, and Westsyde. All top 5 teams

At 3:25 PM, January 31, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

has the team from Hope played any of the ranked teams in AA? they seem to have been 7th all season.. basketball bc has them at the bottom of the honorable mention list. poor showing at the tourney at DP Todd so they must have done something good this season

At 3:31 PM, January 31, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Eric Williams from Hope did not play at the DP Todd Tournament. Hope played PA, but I dont consider them as a ranked team.

At 7:27 PM, January 31, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

The Basketball BC rankings are BullS***, Summerland and DP Todd don't deserve to be there! Sa-hali and Westsyde should both be in the top 10 (and should NEVER drop below HM =!) For example, I saw Westsyde play DP Todd... When I left (in the 3rd Q) it was 53-23... What a joke! Westsyde or Sa-hali could realistically beat Fulton in the Okanagans.

send in your scores then.....that is what he bases it on.

PA

Lost to Hope by 7-9 points, eric williams dominated, that was it

Beat southridge by 9 then lost by 25, game this thurs at PA 8:00 for tie breaker, gonna be good game

Lost to Enver by 10-15, only down by 4 with 4 min left, was a close game all the way.

Won some crappy christian school tournament pretty easilly.

Hasnt played many top teams in AA

I really think westsyde is too overated, they didnt seem that great at all whne i saw them.

PA isnt overated, and isnt weak....
top ten is maybe too high right now beacause they havent played too many top teams, but are at least HM same with Southridge

sahali beat dptodd by 12 when dptodd was missing there 6 6 guy. Yea, westsyde spanked dptodd.

At 8:50 AM, February 01, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

DP Todd's 6'6 guy is brutal. He is so easy to shut down it's ridiculous.

At 3:56 PM, February 01, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

DPTodd's 6'7 guy is easy to shut down, he isn't a scorer though, he's athletic, and plays to shut down the other teams bigs

At 7:04 PM, February 01, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

When Sahali played D.P.Todd, Sahali's big guy at 39. If D.P. Todd had there 6 6 guy that guy from sahali wouldn't have dropped 39 and it would've been a closer game.

Is stm goin AAA next year?

At 4:34 PM, February 02, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

When and where did you see Westsyde play?

At 8:04 PM, February 02, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Ross Shannon from Pleasant Valley secondary does the AA rankings. He did not have the results of the Sahali tournament on Sunday so he didn't adjust the rankings. Give you coaches crap before you judge the rankings. They need to email these scores in. I think BCsportsfanatic's ranking are very accurate.

Does Ladysmith deserve the #1 ranking? has anyone seen both Duchess Park and Ladysmith play, because i saw on another site that Duchess' only loss came in overtime to MEI

At 10:46 PM, February 02, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

I like how vernon is Honarable mention and they lost to both Sa hali and Dw poppy but 20 plus points

At 10:48 PM, February 02, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Ive seen Ladysmith and Duchess play but when we played Duchess Nathan Yu didnt play i would say Duches deserves the number one ranking

At 8:08 AM, February 03, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Yeah Vernon sucks, anyone know how they got there or is that totally random?

At 5:19 PM, February 03, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

yeah anybody that loses to poppy by 20 sucks

what r the dates of the fraser valley tournement?

At 7:00 PM, February 03, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

I think that pacific academy should be in the top 15 now for sure after beating southridge 64-46

At 2:34 PM, February 04, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Why did Lambrick drop so hard? 5th-10th?

At 12:35 AM, February 05, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

how does the fraser valley tourny work? how many teams and how many berths from there 2 provicnals
i kno that wild card games for the frasers are like sands carney and some other school 2 makin it but
who are the top 3 in the frasers and how mayn get berhts to the provincals

At 12:23 PM, February 05, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

There are 8 teams in the Fraser Valley Championships

the teams that are in it for sure are

1)Hope
2)Southridge
3)Pacific Academy
4)D.W. Poppy
5)Mission
6)Thomas Haney

All those teams finished top 2 in their division. Now their are 3rd place qualifiers. That means that the three teams that finished 3rd in their division will play against eachother and the best two out of the 3 teams will go through to Fraser Valley Championships.

The 3 teams fighting for those 2 remaining spots in the FV Championships are:

1)Sands
2)Archbishop Carney
3)Aldergrove

I predict that Sands will be on of those 2 teams to go through and then probably Carney.

Once in the Fraser Valley Championships, You have to finished in the top 3 in order to go to Provincials. There are three berths from Fraser Valley that go to Provincials. I believe it's double elimination so you have to lose 2 games in order to be knocked out of Fraser Valleys. My predictions for the 3 berths that will come out of Fraser Valley are:

1)Hope
2)Southridge
3)Pacific Academy

i think it will be hope and PA in the finals of the frasers

At 2:12 PM, February 05, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Cedar beat Lambrick twice this year at lambrick

At 6:01 PM, February 05, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

I would usually think it would be hope and southridge in finals of frasers, but since P.A. has homecourt advantage i'd say they'll probably make it there instead
