First taste of several top ranked teams at the NSIT. Several exhibition games as well and the top 10 is starting to round into form.

Fraser Valley

1. Centennial
2. Brookswood
3. Maple Ridge
4. Pitt Meadows
5. Terry Fox
6. WRCA
7. North Delta
8. Yale
9. Tamanawis
10. Enver Creek

HM: MEI, Pinetree, Gleneagle, Port Moody, Sardis

Centennial overtakes Brookswood in the FVs with solid early season action winning the NSIT (I called it by the way), Brookswood beat some weaker competition this week. Ridge beat Enver and Fleetwood. Pitt was disappointing in the NSIT. Fox played some exhibition games vs Wash state teams. Yale won their own tournament beating MEI along the way. Sardis is a team that could make some noise, had a couple of nice wins this week.

Fraser Valley Preview Week 2

Lower Mainland

1. Kitsilano
2. St. Georges
3. Killarney
4. Magee
5. Churchill
6. Richmond
7. Palmer
8. Hugh Boyd
9. Burnaby Central
10. Lord Byng

HM: Burnett, Burnaby South, New West

Kitsilano had a good showing at NSIT, beating top-ranked Handsworth. Ty and Niko are really turning heads, they've been shooting lights out. St. Georges was idle, Killarney beat some weaker competition but was solid nonetheless. Magee had a nice win over Palmer, Churchill has looked good so far as well. Richmond is young but will get better, same with Palmer. Burnaby Central pulled out of NSIT to play at the Cariboo Hill tourney, will have to wait until HSBC to see if they're the real deal.

Lower Mainland Preview Week 2

Vancouver Island

1. Claremont
2. Dover Bay
3. Oak Bay
4. Belmont
5. Vanier

HM: Wellington, Mt Douglas, Cowichan

The Islands are shaking up. Belmont is the big mover, had a great showing at the NSIT, staying with Cent, and losing by 1 to Handsworth. Dover Bay was idle. Oak Bay was OK in first action of the season at NSIT, same with Vanier, Wellington, Cowichan and Mt Douglas.

Vancouver Island Preview Week 2

Howe Sound

1. Handsworth
2. Carson Graham
3. West Vancouver
4. Argyle

The Royals will need more work to stay atop, played OK in the NSIT losing to Kits in the 2nd round. Carson has come on strong early with their big center. West Van struggled in the NSIT, may need more games to get into the rhythm. Argyle is really young and will get better with experience.

Howe Sound Preview Week 2

Other Regions

After coming in 2nd in their own tournament last week, Kelowna lost their first round game to Oak Bay at the NSIT this weekend, not sure where they placed.
