I like that u moved us up to fourth... and that u started to reconize our zone.. to make provincials it is going to be tough for us, does that mean haney is ranked 6th in valley by u? or random order for honorable mention? we beat them barley, by 4 in overtime, but came back in 4th when down by 9

Who's good from Southridge? Are they big, or have good guards or what?

At 11:22 AM, January 30, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

How are they going to decide who gets the 1 seed in the FV's?

At 11:52 AM, January 30, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

sridge's whole team is solid. combination of big men, shooters, slashers...

At 3:35 PM, January 30, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

they have a crazy combo

one guy that can shoot the lights out
one guy that can cut through the defense easily
and one big man that does a crazy job down low

it's not certain where the tie-breaker game is going be... there's going be a flip toss

i say it should be at a neutral gym.. so both sides don't get any advantage

from wat i've seen of Hope, Pac, and Southridge i believe Hope is the out and out favorite to win out in the FV's. Hope beat Pacific Academy earlier in the season when the majority of their team was sick and they have been playing amazing as of late. I'm pretty sure Hope can handle Pac easily, and pac and southridge are fairly evenly matched so look for those three teams to be in the provinicials next month.

Mission is gonna come out tough in the FV's you might not think they can take it but we're gonna come out and leave everything on the court, we plan to do the same in kamloops, unless you saw us play earlier in the year you havent seen us play our best, as for taking haney into overtime... we like the drama we give the fans a show, Kamloops here we come

At 9:35 PM, February 01, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

We beat carney by forfeit they didnt book refs and since it didnt effect standings they gave us the win so we finished 8-0 and i heard somewhere that heritage beat haney? whats the deal there...

At 9:44 PM, February 01, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Whats the FV draw gonna look like sports fan? any byes or what let us know

At 10:43 PM, February 01, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

We did beat Haney.... but they didnt seem to play that well. and we were up by 28 in the 4th quarter with 6 minutes left and they came back and tied it but then we won anyway.
Mission and Haney are the same skill based on us playing agaisnt both this year.. they will be tough games in the valleys.

At 10:43 PM, February 01, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

hey mission man,

you are stupid. Firstly you shouldn't be talking yet, because you haven't played any1 good so really, even you don't know how good you guys actually can be. 2ndly, don't you think everybody that goes to Fraser Valleys is going to leave everything on the court. Unfortunately for you guys, everything that you guys leave on the court might just not be enough. Thirdly, your Haney overtime excuse was the gayest thing i've ever heard.

But seriously though, you shouldn't talk so early. What if you guys go into Fraser Valleys and end up losing. Then you will just end up looking even more stupid and you will be embarrassed

At 11:54 AM, February 02, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Mission is horrible! Their post players are absolute jokes, and their guards cant shoot at all. The only thing they have going is being in good shape, and all that is going to get them is a two and out in the FV's

At 12:18 PM, February 02, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

k, i heard that Hope killed mission in their home tournament by like 22 or something?? anyone hear anything else?? cuz if its true, then they are in for a world of hurt.

At 1:01 PM, February 02, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

i play for hope we were up 30+ and put our bench in in the fourth quarter and beat them by 21.

At 10:44 PM, February 02, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Pacific Academy beat Southridge by 16 or 18 points to claim first place in their division

At 11:02 PM, February 02, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

does anyone know what the draw might be like for the fraser valley championships and also who are playing in the wildcard games

At 11:52 PM, February 02, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

i think southridge and hope will be on one side and PA and mission on the other

At 12:39 PM, February 03, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

who ever gets lucky enough to have mission on their side is on the fast track to the finals, that's for sure.

At 2:33 PM, February 03, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

How can you rank Holy Cross 5th when they finished 4th in their zone and will not qualify for the Fraser Valley Tournament?

At 3:05 PM, February 03, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

it should be Hope, PA, Sothridge, Mission, Poppy, Haney, Sands, Holy Cross

At 4:33 PM, February 03, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

BC SportsFanatic only moved holy cross up to fifth place because of their good play against PA which was a fluke

At 5:17 PM, February 03, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

is that the order you think they should be? cuz i've played mission and poppy and i think poppy is actually better

At 6:47 PM, February 03, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

ya that would be my picks, i put mission there because they have an undefeated record, and poppy is second in there division, i think i say them play once(poppy) and they got like a reali good pg, thats all i remembered

At 6:49 PM, February 03, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Sands and Cross both can't make it only one of them will go

At 6:55 PM, February 03, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

At 6:56 PM, February 03, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Holy Cross played two games this week and thay had to write their school exams as well. Tough way to go out!

At 11:14 PM, February 03, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

PA is just as good as a team than PA, and better, there are an overall better team than southridge when they want to be.

At 10:07 AM, February 04, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

1.hope
2.p.a
3.southridge

At 2:03 PM, February 04, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

definitely
1. Hope
2. PA
3. Southridge

At 8:21 PM, February 04, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

i dunno
you still can't really tell who's better out of P.A. and Southridge

At 8:30 PM, February 04, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

after watching the tie breaker game, i would say PA is better, they also have won 2 out of 3, the 25 point loss was just a fluke.... not a fluke, PA wasnt prepared, not taking anything away from southridge

At 9:41 PM, February 04, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

I have watched a couple of Southridge games myself, including the tie-breaker game against PA. i haven't seen P.A. play however. After watching Southridge play a couple of games, they themselves didn't seem prepared for that game. They were making stupid turnovers, lazy passes, passes from one end of the 3point line through the key to the otherside of they threepoint line pretty much just asking for it to be intercepted. Maybe they thought it was gonna be a walk in the park after beating P.A. by 25.

P.A. obviously came out strong and showed them otherwise. One of P.A.s guys was hitting 3pointers from everywhere like they were nothing and a lot of the other players were good from midrange too.

Anyway, congrats to P.A. on the victory to claim 1st place

And as for Southridge, they best just be happy it wasn't Fraser Valley Championships yet. Maybe, this will be a wake up call for them.

Either way,
the 3 teams taht should go thru to kamloops should be Hope, P.A.., and Southridge

Can some1 post the draw if any1 gets it, It would be interesting to see who they put on which side of the draw. I would think that Hope would get 1st seed and P.A. would get 2nd seed since they won the tiebreaker, and 3rd seed would go to southridge, and 4th to mission i guess? Would they put Hope and Mission together, which would end up maybe another battle between PA and Southridge in semi's? or will they put hope and southridge together and PA with mission

hmmm...

At 10:04 PM, February 04, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

iam pretty sure it is Hope and Southridge on one side, and PA and mission on the other

At 10:20 PM, February 04, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

can anybody confirm the results of the wildcard games?

At 12:25 AM, February 05, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

the nine teams still alive before wild card games are:

Hope
PA
Southridge
Mission
DW Poppy
Thomas Haney

wildcard teams:
Sands
Archbishop Carney

?

At 1:31 PM, February 05, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

i want to see a Pacific vs. Southridge game in the frasers

At 1:38 PM, February 05, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

aldergrove beat mountain by 3

At 6:12 PM, February 05, 2006, Anonymous Anonymous said...

why are we caring about mountain and aldergrove or w/e anyway?? The only game one of those two teams has left is a 3rd place qualifier game anyway. They suck. Stop the suckyteam talk.
