gd job this week
Magee #4 is way to high. If anything they should be 5th but Churchill is still much better than them as is central. To put Magee one spot behind Killarney is not correct since Killarny beat them by 25+ in exhb.
4.Churchill
5.Central/magee
6.Central/magee
I disagree. bcsportsfanatic is on the ball. these rankings look pretty accurate.
Churchill might be better than Magee, but WC plays a weak schedule.
Magee has been competitive with Kits in both games and lost to oak bay by only 5.
Central lost several games last week, badly at the boyd tourney. Killarney lost several games as well. It is not that far fetched to have magee pretty close to killarney and churchill.
I think central and magee will both beat churchill in lowermainlands....wc is just too small.
killarney beating magee by 20 was the first game magee played and they were without their 6'7 starting cneter and only had 6 guys dressed.
pw beat magee twice in exhibition with 7 players and them with their full - doesnt mean shit
they've improved hella and are competing at a high level
pretty accurate this week
yea pw beat magee once in summer league without 6'7 big man.. and once in the preseason with 20 guys on the magee roster. they've really improved their game and their size/skill is up there
Churchill hasn't had size for the past 10 years yet they've been very competitive at the Mainlands, next to Kits and Kill they've probably been the top team in the cities the past few years.
Coach Lopez does a great job with those guys and he has a system that's perimeter oriented so the lack of bigs won't really hurt them. If Poritz stays healthy they should make it to the BC's
Lack of size won't hurt WC offensively...but it will hurt them defensively if a team is able to break their press and turn it into a halfcourt game.
But yes, they should make it into the BC's along with kill, kits and saints, the last spot could go to magee or central. south or byng have a very outside shot...but more of a shot than boyd or palmer. rhs and burnett have been very dissapointing this year.
Magee and WC are not deep. Illness, injury or foul trouble to blake or hunter in the lowermainlands and it could be season over.
ok realistically anything can happen. barring miracle saints kits and killarney should make it. i think magee churchill byng central and south are all tossups for the final spot. pw has no chance they are solid but definitly not good enough.
I think the rankings are looking good and i think you cant count the richmond teams out. I know Burnett and Rich High are having ok seasons and Boyd and Palmer are hitting stride. But any one of those 4 teams could turn it on at anytime and if they do for the mainlands could make for some intresting games.
rankings are very well done, i agree i'd say that saints kits and killarney are all locks on 1,2,3.. i agree with the statement that magee churchill byng central and south are all tossups, except for south, what the hell have they dont to prove themselves.. i dont give them a legit shot at making provincials.
Magee beat Brit by 1?
Is this true?
yah 69-70
this week the rankings should stay the same. churchill magee burnaby central are in a pack of 3 that should stay in the 4-6 range. huge discrepency between 6 and 7.
Rankings for next week?
1) Saints
2) Kits
3) Kill
4) VC
5) Magee
6) SWC
7) Boyd
8) Central
9) South
10)Palmer
11)Byng
12)NW
^^ yea right..
1) Saints
2) Kits
3) Kill
4) Keep Magee here
5) Churchill
6) Central
7) VC i guess they beat a depleted churchill team
8) Byng
9) south
10) palmer
yea magee should definately stay #4. If killarney's been inconsistant yet have been staying @ #3, then magee shudn't be penalized for not beating poor teams by a lot.
Rankings should stay the same.
Churchill did not play a regular rotation against VC
Magee beat Brit by 1 point
Windemere beat PW by 20 and beat Brit
Byng beat Windemere by 30'ish...was up 70-29...like Chruchill starters played 4 mins that game.
Central will be dangerous but committment problems and inconsistancy usually come back to haunt you at this time of year.
By the way....PW (2-8) in league did not make playoffs. Season over.....please leave them off the rankings...no clue why they were on so long anyways.
