though the rankings seem good,I haven't seen any big games that Vanier has won...I have looked around at all the tournaments they have held or been to, and for the most part, they havent been top 3 if it were a widely known tourny, winning there 2 own invitationals with single A and double AA teams participated, relaly no competition.....until I see them play a top 10 team and win, I cant consider them a top 3 team on the island.

I agree with that thought and I also think that Dover should drop. They've lost to Cowichan and Wellington in league lately and have only had the one win against Vanier (who as previously mentioned can't beat good teams).

1 Claremont
2 Oak Bay
3 Cowichan
4 Dover
5 Vanier
6 Wellington
7 Stelly's
8 Belmont

from what i heard, doer has been missing 2 starters or so, and they dont have a big team....once there healthy, its between them oak bay, wellington, vanier and maybe cowichan if they keep this up for 2/3 off the island....even claremont can get upset on the island, only time will tell

Dover was missing their 6th man for their losses to Cowichan and Wellington and was missing former provincial player Pat McCarthy in the Wellington loss. I don't know why Cowichan doesn't get more respect. Sure you can say that they haven't proven anything when it counts but they just beat Dover and Wellington missing 1-2 starters. If you're saying that they only maybe have a shot at provincials then you have to say the same for Dover and Wellington and maybe even Vanier considering Dover just beat them.
