saints didn't get "spanked" out east. They lost to the best team in canada by nine, were down 1 at the half. Plus they don't play with a shot clock out east, so commerce just got a lead and passed the ball around. WOulda been a totally different game if it was played here with a shot clock. Nonetheless saints gave 'em a run for their money and finished the tourney 2-2, thats definately not getting "spanked", as u put it.

And then that "Best team in Canada" got spanked by 30+ in the semi's. St. Georges was a middle of the pack team in a very good tournament. No need to make excuses, there isn't anything wrong with how they played. THe represented BC as well as anyone could have at that tournament.

actually no, eastern commerce lost by 2 on a buzzer beater in the semi's. They were previously unbeaten this year. They ended up finishing third in the tourney and still hold the #1 ranking in Ontario.

great job bcsportsfanatic.

one question....how does killarney not drop after loosing to AA Cedar? It's not like big willie is still there....they are a very average AA team.

Yea and their second loss was from fatigue of playing 4 games in 3 days plus the jetlag definatly did not get spanked

Since PW lost to Windermere I thought I'd ask as question more related to last weeks commetns. Someone said all PW had was a good and respected coach. Other than wearing out his welcome as an assistant in the BCCAA and coaching JO (? - could be wrong on that) what has he done for people to say he is good. The reason I heard he left Cap (Won't repeat to start rumours) wouldn't be "respected".

Maybe it was there coach hyping himself because there's nothing to hype about his team.

um I play for PW, highschool wise -I dont think steve coached JO, I think it was churchill instead

we've had a pretty disgusting finish to our season, started off real with a lot of promise but just fell apart...

we're all gr 11s so I guess look out for us next yr

magee 83 kits 94 magee was only down 1 with a bit left left in the gamme. intentionally sending kits to the free throw line at the end made the score a little more lopsided than the game was.
