VERNON
STM tournament featured a lot of big games for several AA teams. The other big AA tournament was the DP Todd tournament featuring several top AA teams. Overall things are pretty much status quo in AA.
Fraser Valley
1. Hope
2. Southridge
3. Pacific Academy
4. DW Poppy
5. Sands
HM: Archbishop Carney, Langley, Fraser Valley Christian, Holy Cross, Mission
Hope lost their first game to DP Todd at the DP Todd tournament. Reports indicated Eric Williams did not play. I don't have any other reports from any other FV teams, Holy Cross was at the Churchill Tournament but lost all it's games. There has been some talk of Mission lately, but they haven't played any top teams and competed in any tournaments so we don't really know how good they are.
Fraser Valley Preview Week 5
Lower Mainland
1. St. Thomas More
2. Collingwood
3. Sentinel
4. Sutherland
5. McMath
6. Windsor
7. St. Thomas Aquinas
8. Notre Dame
9. King George
10. Steveston
HM: McNair, St. Patricks
STM reached the semis of their own tournament losing to AAA Vancouver College. Sentinel had a decent showing at the Alberni Tournament on the Island. McMath lost all their games at the STM tournament but they beat Notre Dame in their final consolation game. Windsor had a decent showing at the STM Tournament after losing to STM badly, they beat AAA Palmer in Consolation play.
Lower Mainland Preview Week 5
Vancouver Island
1. Ladysmith
2. Lambrick Park
3. Cedar
4. Shawnigan Lake
5. St. Michael's
Ladysmith was at the Wellington tournament beating AAA Pinetree but losing to AAA Oak Bay by 1. Lambrick played well at the Mount Doug tournament winning all their games vs weaker opponents, their lone loss coming to AAA Vanier. Cedar was suppose to host a tournament but I don't have any info on it.
Vancouver Island Preview Week 5
