2005 AA Season Review Week 3

The AA Rankings are updated.

Tournaments last week,

Christmas Classic - NOTRE DAME (Vancouver)
Heritage Christian Classic - HERITAGE CHRISTIAN (Kelowna)
Christmas Classic - SUTHERLAND (North Vancouver)
Fulton Cup - Kamloops
Penticton Christmas Classic - PENTICTON & PRINCESS MARGARET
Can-Am Santa Slam - LAMBRICK PARK (Victoria)
Condor Classic - DUCHESS PARK (Prince George)
Breakers Invitational - PACIFIC ACADEMY (Surrey)

Tournaments this week,

No AA tournaments until January that I know of...

Some good tournament action should give us more insight into the rankings for each region including the Lambrick Tournament and Penticton Tournament. Don't expect the top 10 rankings to change dramatically though.

Fraser Valley

1. Hope
2. Southridge
3. Pacific Academy
4. DW Poppy
5. Archbishop Carney

HM: Langley, Fraser Valley Christian, Holy Cross, Sands, Mission

Hope won the Pacific Academy tournament, Eric Williams was named MVP. Southridge was idle. Pacific Academy played well in their own tournament losing to Hope by 8. DW Poppy played on the island in the Lambrick Park round robin, results unknown.

Fraser Valley Preview Week 3

Lower Mainland

1. St. Thomas More
2. Collingwood
3. Sentinel
4. Sutherland
5. McMath
6. St. Thomas Aquinas
7. Notre Dame
8. King George
9. Steveston
10. McNair

HM: St. Patricks, Windsor

Reports from the St. George's Tournament are that STM played well, playing Thomas Haney and Centennial on Wed. Full results are not known, but email me if you know. Collingwood was idle. Sentinel and Sutherland played well in their own tournaments staying with AAA Burnett and Palmer. McMath won their league game vs Cambie. Waiting for results of the Notre Dame tournament with Notre Dame, King George, and St. Patrick's all competing. Steveston and McNair both competed in the Pacific Academy tournament but lost their games.

Lower Mainland Preview Week 3

Vancouver Island

1. Ladysmith
2. Lambrick Park
3. Cedar
4. Shawnigan Lake
5. St. Michael's

Ladysmith won their league game vs Woodlands, they competed this weekend in the Lambrick Park tournament. All the 5 top teams played in the Lambrick Park round-robin tournament. Waiting for results, email me if you have them.

Vancouver Island Preview Week 3

Okanagan

1. Fulton
2. Sa-Hali
3. Westsyde
4. Summerland
5. Princess Margaret

Fulton playing in the Penticton Tournament this weekend, probably won't win but should do well. Westyde beat Sa-Hali in a close league game. Summerland and PM played in the Penticton Tournament, waiting for results, email me if you have them.

Okanagan Preview Week 3

North Central

1. Duchess Park
2. DP Todd
3. College Heights
4. Columneetza
5. Correlieu

Duchess wins their own tournament easily beating lesser opponents. Not sure if DP Todd, College Heights, Columneetza and Correlieu were in action, please email me if you know of any results.

North Central Preview Week 3

North West

1. Prince Rupert
2. Charles Hays
3. Hazelton

Charles Hays played in the Duchess tournament, not sure if Rupert and Hazelton were in action.
